Connecticut Opera Guild

The Connecticut Opera Guild was founded in 1954 to promote and encourage the understanding of all aspects of Opera.  We continue to serve that purpose by supporting talented young singers with the annual Young Artists Scholarship Competition.

2012 Competition Information

The 58th Annual Young Artists Scholarship Competition will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at The Hoffman Auditorium at Saint Josheph College in West Hartford, Connecticut.

 

The first prize will be $10,000. A minimum of $20,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.  At the 2011 competition $32,500 was awarded.
